Kim Pierce (she/her) has been a bodyworker since 2005. Her ever evolving practice has focused primarily on supporting the bodies of pregnant and postpartum people, as well as individuals approaching the end of their lives. She is especially known for her exciting labor encouraging sessions

Kim is certified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Vibrational (working across joints), Prenatal, and Postpartum massage, as well as Reiki, and Cranio-Sacral therapy. She is a certified Postpartum, Abortion, and Full Spectrum Birth Doula. Kim has also studied Mayan Abdominal massage, Chi Nei Tsang (Eastern abdominal massage), Intraoral Massage, Active Release Technique, natural labor induction, color therapy, sound therapy, cupping, and stretching techniques. She has completed CPR and Grief Work training programs. Kim is constantly learning from fellow healing professionals and through the unique experiences that surface with her beloved clients.

In addition to bodywork, Kim has been both a Pregnancy Loss Doula, and an Outreach Worker/Case Manager with young injection drug users experiencing homelessness. In both roles she professionally supported individuals through grief, death, and a spectrum of pregnancy outcomes.

Kim considers art making to be a crucial part of her spiritual practice, and an agent for healing herself and others. Often her pieces are deep meditations on the love she feels for a particular person or ancestor, or reflections on birth, death, loss, and spirit. Previously, Kim has explored the mediums of photography, clay, metal, and drawing with graphite. Currently she is working with softer materials like watercolor, and paper pulp.

Kim is a queer woman who strongly believes in communal support and trauma informed care for all people. Today she is living in northern New Mexico with her geriatric canine, volunteering in her community, offering bodywork, and creating a body of work.
